Minář, Petr ; Škoda, Jan (referee) ; Blecha, Petr (advisor)
The main subject of this bachelor’s thesis is to design goniophotometer construction for positioning of luminaires during measurement. Firs part deals with description of general goniophotometer construction, their characteristic and methods, which are used for measuring. Second part deals with design of complete appliance including all-purpose chucking mechanism and drive, for automatic control.
Industrial Tester for Photometric Values of LED diodes Used in Automotive Signal Lighting
Technology of pouring LED strips with epoxy materials
Rudy, Veronika ; Krejčí, Miroslav (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
The thesis deals with the pouring of epoxy materials over LED strips. The research part contains an introduction to photometry and summarizes the types of potting compounds along with their characteristics. The practical part delves into the effect different amount of pigment has on the photometric properties. This is assessed based on verified measurements performed with the help of a goniophotometer on samples with different amounts of pigment, which were created using an integration sphere. Furthermore, a brightness analysis and a long-term outdoor test were performed.
Unconventional Methods of Measurement in Photometry
Škoda, Jan ; Sokanský, Karel (referee) ; Gašparovský,, Dionýz (referee) ; Baxant, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with an unconventional possibility of measuring photometric values and the work is based on analysis of luminance made by commercially available digital photo camera. In the first part is represent an overview of current methods for measuring the photometry. You also can see the basic photometric values and required instrumentation needed to measure them. The focus of the work is concentrated on the description of the problems associated with setting the correct luminance of digital photography. It describes the dependency and correction procedures for calculating fixed luminance ratios of the individual images. The last part of this thesis is devoted to the possible use in practice, especially in the analysis of luminance of objects, luminaires and light sources. It also deals with an alternative description of luminaire and light sources to replace the luminous intensity curve etc.
Non-contact temperature measurement methods
Segeťa, Petr ; Kandus, Bohumil (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
The thesis provides an overview of methods for non-contact temperature measurement. The thesis analyzes the theory and the two main methods - measurement using pyrometers and thermovision. Are described the principle, calibration, their advantages and disadvantages.
Design and implementation of the test luminaire with a uniform emitting area and the possibility of spectral change
Šilha, Jakub ; Novák, Filip (referee) ; Motyčka, Martin (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design and construction of the luminaire according to the specified parameters. It introduces the reader to the basic properties of light radiation, light sources and individual parts of the luminaire. Furthermore, the thesis presents the development of the luminaire design and its implementation according to the required parameters. As a result, the manufactured luminaire will be tested and evaluated.
Comparison of Conventional and New methods of Measurement and Evaluation of Luminance
Svoboda, Miloslav ; Novák,, Tomáš (referee) ; Baxant, Petr (advisor)
Because luminance is the only value to which our sight responds, its measurement becomes important in terms of ensuring the proper function of vision. Nowadays luminance measuring can be made by conventional methods, such as direct using of luminance meter. However an entirely new method of measuring luminance levels is coming. This method is based on using luminance analyzers which work using a digital photography for the analysis of luminance. This thesis deals with these issues and is divided into several chapters, which form the two main parts of the thesis, the theoretical and the practical one. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the basics of lighting technology, as well as the principles of measuring the luminance using conventional methods. New methods of measurement, i.e. using luminance analyzers, are discussed in two chapters which analyse both the principle and characteristics of analyzers available today. In the practical part is a comparative measurement carried out – in the laboratory and in terrain – using both methods.
Problems of the mirror shutter in the LED module of the headlight
Ettler, Jan ; Hlaváček, Martin (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with methods of attaching the mirror shutter in LED modules in headlamps. The aim is to compare three methods of attachment which are used in one of the platform variants. The following are the methods of attachment, followed by the description of the light sources and functions of the LED modules; they are: riveting, hot stamping and fixation with clips. Risk associated with the assembly of mirror shutter into the light source are analysed via FMEA analysis, including also measures and actions for risk reduction – implementation of lighting of produced light sources in a special jig in the light laboratory. Vibrations tests were carried out to find out the influence of vibration on the mirror shutter in LED modules in the traffic. The tests revealed that even if the clip is incorrectly fixed (not attached to the end position) it does not affect the functionality of the module.
Measurement of operating room lights quality
Rovná, Tereza ; Potočňák, Tomáš (referee) ; Harabiš, Vratislav (advisor)
This thesis is focused on measuring the quality of lighting in operating rooms. Operating lights are very demanding in terms of quality requirements for each parameter, so it is important to specify exactly these parameters and check them regurarly. To measure the quality of the light source, was used a special kit from Maquet. Measurement procedure was not as accurate as it was for operating lighting need, therefore, this work includes a proposal to improve the measurement of quality lighting in operating theaters. In cooperation with University Hospital Brno Bohunice University Hospital Motol and the company Maquet measured nine operating lights, each light were compared in terms of parameters such as maximum light intensity, light distribution in the surgical field. In each category were selected several lighting, which reached the best results. The various parameters were compared with values declared by the manufacturer.
